In March 2010, FS Ben Sessions and CWO Dan Cooper of 2499 Squadron will be walking and running 80 miles across the Jurassic Coast in Dorset within 24 hours to raise money for Help for Heroes charity as part of the ONER Marathon.

Help for Heroes raises money to support members of the Armed Forces who have been wounded in the service of their country.

Air cadets aged 13 to 19 are given the chance by our team of staff and volunteers to learn to fly, develop skills to lead expeditions, tour foreign countries, become target shooting marksmen, play a wide range of sports and learn about aviation and aerospace.

This is only a small list of the many activities and opportunities available all whilst making new friends.
